In the weeks and months ahead, nine on line sub committees will be set up where members will have opportunities to act as catalysts in encouraging various companies, policy makers, teachers, and others with influence to pay more attention to families and to their needs. There are nine major "engines of change" within our society that have the capacity to assist and encourage and strengthen families in various positive ways (see diagram below).
